Adult and Youth Auxiliaries
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has national auxiliary organizations for women, men and youth ages 4-18. If you are interested in participating in any of the following auxiliaries you should contact the Office of the Pacific Region to seek connection with a local Graduate Chapter in your state of residency.
Zeta Amicae
As early as 1940, graduate chapters of Zeta Phi Beta began to realize the importance of the prestige, good will and cooperation of women who, for various reasons, were not members of any Greek-letter organization. In 1947, under the administration of Past National President, Lullelia Harrison, the first Amicae (Friends of Zeta) chapter was organized making Zeta the first sorority in the National Pan-Hellenic Council to organize an auxiliary group.
The Amicae auxiliary provides an opportunity for professional women to be affiliated with Zeta and assist the sorority with providing positive, proactive, and far-reaching community service, both nationally and internationally. Today, Amicae auxiliaries are affiliated through local graduate chapters in all eight regions of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and continue to help the organization extend their outreach in the communities where they live and serve.
Zeta Pearlettes
Pearlette auxiliary members are young girls ages 4-8 who are mentored by graduate members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated to become outstanding leaders in their community.
Zeta Amicettes
The Amicette auxiliary members are girls 9 to 13 years of age who are willing to strive toward the high ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and who demonstrate potential for leadership in service to the community. Amicettes are affiliated through local graduate chapters.
Zeta Archonettes
The Archonette auxiliary is for high school-aged (14-18) young ladies who demonstrate an interest in the goals and the ideals of scholarship, sisterly love, and community service. Archonette groups are affiliated through local graduate chapters.
Zeta Male Network
The Zeta Male Network consists of the men in the lives of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. The auxiliary was established in 1996 during the administration of the 20th International President, Jylla Tearte, PhD. As role models and community leaders, the men who comprise the Zeta Male Network provide much-needed support to Zeta programs and service projects.
